Mission and objectives

UNIC Manama is responsible for promoting greater public understanding of and support for the aims and activities of the United Nations by disseminating information on the work of the Organization to people in Bahrain and the Gulf region.

Context

The online volunteers will conduct the following tasks: - Translate content assigned and cleared by UNIC-Manama from Arabic to English, or English to Arabic - Edit and enhance the language of some publications based on the inputs and instructions of the manager

Task description

We are looking for two online volunteers to support translation of content, including press releases, articles, interviews, stories ..ect from Arabic to English or English to Arabic for UN Information Center in Manama, which covers the Gulf countries.
